Azarga eye drops (Generic name: Brinzolamide and Timolol Maleate) is a new combination ophthalmic suspension for treatment of elevated eye pressure (IOP) associated with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension in adults patients. Azarga is a formulation includes 1% Brinzolamide and 0.5% Timolol Maleate. Brinzolamide and Timolol decrease elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) primarily by reducing aqueous humour secretion, but they do so by different mechanisms of action. Azarga Side Effects:

The most common Azarga eye drops side effects include blurred vision, change of taste, dry eye, irritation and sensation in eyes. If you are experiencing any severe side effects such as eye pain, increased tearing, signs of infection, swelling, redness of the eyelid, pink eye, sensitivity to light, vision problems or serious allergic reaction (e.g., difficult breathing, swelling of the lips, tongue or throat), please inform your doctor immediately.

Azarga Precautions:

Do NOT use Azarga drops if you are allergic to Bimatoprost or Timolol Maleate, or to any of the ingredients in Azarga medication. Do NOT use Azarga ophthalmic solution if you have had any medical conditions such as heart disorders, respiratory problems, kidney or liver disease. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications you use, especially of beta-blockers. They may interact with Azarga drug.
