Embeline Information
Embeline (Clobetasol Propionate) is used to treat a variety of skin conditions (e.g, psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, allergies, rash). This medication reduces the swelling, itching, and redness that can occur in these types of conditions. It can also heal the rough, scaly patches on the skin seen with psoriasis. Embeline also contains emollients, which soften and moisturize the skin, leading to decreased itching and flaking. Emollients also help to protect the skin against irritation. This medication belongs to a class of drugs called corticosteroids.
Embeline Precaution:
Do not take this medication if you are allergic. Talk to your medical professional if you have a history of poor blood circulation, immune system problems, certain skin conditions (rosacea, perioral dermatitis).
