Jublia Information:
Jublia (efinaconazole) is an antifungal medication used topically to treat fungal infections, typically on the toenail. Jublia works by inhibiting ergosterol, a part of fungal cells that is needed for the fungus to survive, grow, and replicate. Take this medication as directed.
Jublia Precautions:
Only use Jublia topically. Do not use Jublia if you are allergic to efinaconazole. It is unknown if Jublia will harm an unborn baby, or if it can pass through breastmilk. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, become pregnant, or are breastfeeding, in order to assess the risk. It is not likely that Jublia will interact with other medications, but tell your doctor about any medications you are currently taking to reduce the risk of interactions. While using Jublia, you may experience minor pain and irritation around the application site. If this worsens or persists, contact your doctor. If you experience any serious side effects or signs of a severe allergic reaction, seek emergency medical attention.
