Plan B (Generic name: Levonorgestrel) is an emergency contraception (EC) used to prevent pregnancy. Plan B is a new contraceptive morning after pill that was approved by the FDA. It contains two progestin-only pills containing Levonorgestrel. Plan B does NOT work if you are already pregnant.
