Sulfacet-R Lotion (Generic name: Sulfacetamide Sodium 10% and Sulfur 5%) is a brand name anti-acne medication used to treat acne and other skin conditions (e.g., bacterial folliculitis, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis). Sulfacet R Lotion contains an antibacterial agent and a drying agent that promotes shedding of the top layer of skin (keratolysis).Sulfacetamide Sodium is an antibacterial agent that interferes with the growth of bacteria on the skin.
