Zaditor Information

Zaditor (Ketotifen) is an antihistamine that is used for the treatment of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis (sneezing, runny nose, itchy, watery, red or swollen eyes and/or eyelids). Zaditor is an anti-allergy agent and works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine). It is also a mast cell stabilizer that prevents allergic reactions by reducing the release of natural substances that cause an allergic reaction. Zaditor and the generic Ketotifen are both available as 0.025%/5 ml ophthalmic solution.
