Oxeze Turbuhaler Information
Oxeze Turbuhaler (Formoterol Fumarate Dihydrate) is an inhaler and is used to treat asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains a medicine called formoterol which is a fast-acting bronchodilator with a long duration of action and works by relaxing the muscles in your airways which helps you to breathe more easily. It starts to work within 1 to 3 minutes and the effects last up to 12 hours. Oxeze Turbuhaler is used to treat asthma in adults, adolescents, and children 6 years and older. For asthma, Oxeze Turbuhaler is generally prescribed and used with a separate ‘corticosteroid’ inhaler. Oxeze Turbuhaler provides relief or prevention of symptoms such as shortness of breath in patients with asthma and its related conditions. Some people also use Oxeze Turbuhaler when they need extra doses for relief of asthma symptoms, to make it easier to breathe again. This medication can also be used before exercise to prevent asthma symptoms caused by exercise. Oxeze Turbuhaler is available as 6mcg/60 dose and 12 mcg/60 dose.
