Florastor Information:

Florastor (Generic name: Saccharomyces Boulardii Lyo) is a probiotics used to maintain normal bowel function and promote intestinal health. It works by keeping the balance between the good and the bad bacterial in your intestine flora to restore and maintain good health. Florastor contains the active ingredient, saccharomyces boulardii lyo, a tropical strain of yeast first isolated from lychee and mangosteens fruits. Florastor has been proven as a safe and effective supplement for over 50 years of extensive international use.

Other studies have shown that Florastor may be effective for gastrointestinal related disorders including clostridium difficile infection, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and inflammatory bowel diseases. Florastor Side Effects:

The most common Florastor side effects include constipation, gas, or increased thirst. If you are experiencing any severe side effects such as chills, fever, persistent cough (signs of infections), recurring urinary tract infections, recurring vaginal infections, weak immune system, or symptoms of a serious allergic reaction (itching, rash, swelling, trouble breathing), please inform your doctor immediately.

Florastor Precautions:

Do NOT take Florastor capsules if you are allergic to yeast or any of the ingredients in Florastor mediation.
