The most common Lacrisert side effects are eye discomfort, irritation, redness, tearing, sensitivity to light, and temporary blurred vision. If any effects persist or worsen such as eye pain, vision changes or a sign of allergic reactions (e.g., difficult breathing; itching; rash; swelling), remove the insert or inform your doctor immediately.
Do NOT use Lacrisert if you are sensitivity to Hydroxypropyl Cellulose or any of the ingredients in Lacrisert medication.
