Lupron Injection Information:

Lupron Injection (Generic name: Leuprolide) is a prescription medication used for the treatment of advanced prostate cancer in men. Leuprolide Acetate is a long acting GnRH analog. It works by decreasing the production of testosterone in men and estrogen in women to stop growth of the diseased cells involved in prostate cancer and endometriosis. Lupron Injection is also used in the treatment of endometriosis or uterine fibroids in women and early puberty in children. Use Lupron Injection 14 Days kit exactly as prescribed.

Lupron Injection Side Effects:

The most common Lupron Injection side effects are acne, breast tenderness, constipation, dizziness, headache, hot flashes, impotence, injection site reactions, light vaginal bleeding, nausea, and sweats. If you are experiencing any severe side effects such as anxiety, bone pain, depression, migraine headache, mood changes, nervousness, urinary problems, vision changes, and symptoms of a serious allergic reaction (e.g., difficult breathing, hives, rash, swelling), please inform your doctor immediately.

Lupron Injection Precautions:

Do NOT use Lupron Injection if you are allergic to Leuprolide Acetate or any of the ingredients in Lupron Injection medication. Do NOT use Lupron Injection intramuscular injection if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Before using Lupron Injection IM, tell your doctor if you have any medical conditions such as depression, high blood fat levels, osteoporosis, and vaginal bleeding. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications you use. They may interact with Lupron Injection IM, especially of: aspirin, birth control methods, and osteoporosis medications.
