Teveten Plus Information

Teveten Plus (Eprosartan/HCTZ) is used to treat mild-to-moderate high blood pressure. High blood pressure often has no symptoms. However, lowering high blood pressure is essential to prevent health complications like heart attacks, stroke, and kidney problems. High blood pressure is a common condition that occurs when the force of the blood pushing against the artery walls is too high. This makes the heart work harder to pump blood. Angiotensin II receptor blockers like Eprosartan relax the blood vessels to reduce blood pressure. Thiazide diuretics like HCTZ remove excess salt and water in the body to help control blood pressure.
