Accuretic 20 (Quinapril/HCTZ) Information

Accuretic 20 is a combination medication containing two active ingredients - quinapril and hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ). Quinapril belongs to a class of drugs known as ACE (angiotensin-converting enzyme) inhibitors. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic, often called a water pill. This medication is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in patients for whom combination therapy is appropriate. Accuretic 20 Precautions

Do not use Accuretic 20 if you are allergic to quinapril, hydrochlorothiazide, or other ACE inhibitors and sulfonamide-derived drugs. It should not be used if you have a history of angioedema or if you are unable to urinate.
