Celebrex Information

Celebrex (Generic name: Celecoxib) is a prescribed medication used to treat the symptoms of osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and rheumatoid arthritis in adults. Celebrex is also used to treat moderate-to-severe pain for a short-term period (less than 7 days), such as pain due to surgery, sprains, or tooth extractions. Celecoxib belongs to the group of medications called inhibitor nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs work by reducing a substance in the body that leads to inflammation and pain. By this action, it relieves pain and reduces swelling and inflammation. Take Celebrex tablets exactly as it was prescribed for you.
