Celluvisc Eye Drops Information:

Celluvisc (Generic name: Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium) is a new dry eye therapy from Allergan (brand Refresh) used for the treatment of dry eye symptoms such as burning, discomfort, irritation caused by the eye cannot produce enough teams to keep it wet. Celluvisc contains an active ingredient Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium. It is a type of medicine known as an eye lubricant used as artificial tears. Celluvisc is a gentle, preservative-free eye drop solution provides extra strength moisturizing relief by producing lubricating gels for sensitive eyes. Use Celluvisc lubricant eye drops exactly as it is prescribed for you.

Celluvisc Eye Drops Side Effects:

The most common Celluvisc side effects are blurred vision, increased tears, burning, irritation, sensation of the eyes. If you are experiencing any severe side effects such as continued irritation or redness, eye pain, vision changes, and serious allergic reaction (difficult breathing; itching; rash; swelling), please inform your doctor immediately.

Celluvisc Eye Drops Precautions:

Do NOT use Refresh Celluvisc if you are allergic to Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium or any of the ingredients in Celluvisc lubricant. Remove contact lenses before using refresh Celluvisc. Tell your doctor if you have had any medical conditions such as blood disorder, certain enzyme problems, eye/vision problems, hearing problems, heart disease, liver or kidney disease, psoriasis, seizures, and etc. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications you use. They may interact with Celluvisc drops, especially of: other dry eye products and glaucoma medications.
