Cortef (Hydrocortisone) Information

Cortef, which contains the active ingredient hydrocortisone, is an oral corticosteroid medication. It is primarily used as hormone replacement therapy for individuals whose adrenal glands do not produce enough natural cortisol, such as those with Addison's disease or primary adrenocortical insufficiency.
