Diovan HCT (Generic name: Valsartan and Hydrochlorothiazide) is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Diovan HCT is a combination of two medications: Valsartan and Hydrochlorothiazide. Valsartan belongs to a class of drugs called Angiotensin II Receptor Blockers and helps to lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels.
