Enablex Information:

Enablex (Generic name: Darifenacin extended release tablets, also called Emselex) is a prescription medication used to treat the symptoms associated with overactive bladder (OAB), including: urinary urgency (a need to urinate right way), urinary frequency, and urinary incontinence (leaking or wetting accidents). Darifenacin belong to a class of medications called antimuscarinics or antispasmodics. It works by relaxing the muscles in the bladder to improve the ability to control the urinations. Enablex helps reduce the signs and symptoms of OAB for a full 24 hours. Enablex also helps reduce the number of episodes of bladder leaks and wetting accidents in two weeks. Take Enablex exactly as it was prescribed for you.

Enablex Side Effects:

The most common Enablex side effects are abdominal pain, blurred vision, constipation, diarrhea, dizziness, dry mouth, flu symptoms, nausea, and weakness. If you experience any severe side effects including confusion, fever, high blood pressure, jaundice, unusual infections, urinary problems, or symptoms of a serious allergic reactions (e.g., difficult breathing; itching; rash; swelling), please inform your doctor immediately.

Enablex Precautions:

Do NOT take Enablex oral if you are allergic to Darifenacin or any of the ingredients in Enablex medication. Before taking Enablex drug, tell your doctor if you have had any medical conditions, especially of: glaucoma, intestinal or stomach disorders, kidney or liver disease, muscle disorders, and weak urine stream. Tell your doctor about all the prescriptions or over-the-counter (OTC) medications you use. They may interact with Enablex drug, especially of: certain antibiotics/antiviral, antidepressants/antipsychotics, antifungals, HIV/AIDs medicines, and other bladder or urinary medications.
