Jalyn Information:

Jalyn (Generic name: Dutasteride and Tamsulosin; also called Dutas T, Duodart in UK) is a newly approved combination prostate drug used to treat symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men with enlarged prostates. Jalyn is a fixed-dose combination of Dutasteride 0.5 mg capsules and Tamsulosin 0.4 mg capsules offering dual actions: Dutasteride treats symptoms of BPH by shrinking the prostate over a sustained time; Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker works by relaxing the muscles in the bladder and prostate. Jalyn can improve symptoms of BPH better than either medication when used alone. Take Jalyn capsules exactly as it was prescribed for you.

Jalyn Side Effects:

The possible Jalyn side effects include breast enlargement and tenderness, decreased libido, dizziness, ejaculation orders, impotence, runny nose, and etc. If you are experiencing any severe side effects such as fainting, eye problems, and signs of allergic reactions (difficult breathing; hives; itching; rash; swelling), inform your doctor immediately.

Jalyn Precautions:

Do NOT take Jalyn if you are allergic to Dutasteride or Tamsulosin or any of the ingredients in Jalyn medication. Before taking Jalyn oral, tell your doctor if you have had medical conditions, especially of: any allergies, cataract surgery, high/low blood pressure, liver disease, and etc. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications you use. They may interact with Jalyn drug. Jalyn should NOT be used by children, adolescents and women.
