Nicorette Nasal Spray Information
Nicorette Nasal Spray is used to relieve withdrawal symptoms and reduce the cravings for nicotine that you get when you try to stop smoking. This medication can help you quit smoking by replacing the nicotine in cigarettes. The nicotine in tobacco is an important part of cigarette addiction. When you stop smoking, your nicotine levels drop quickly. This medications works by relieving unpleasant nicotine withdrawal symptoms to help stop ones craving to smoke but will not give you the “buzz” from smoking a cigarette.
Nicorette Nasal Spray Side Effects
Do not take this medication if you are allergic to Nicorette Nasal spray. Possible side effects include irritability or aggression, feeling low, anxiety, restlessness, poor concentration, increased appetite or weight gain, urges to smoke (craving) night time awakening or sleep disturbance lowering of heart rate, headache, dizziness, tingling or numbness of the hands and feet, cough, nose bleeds, throat irritation, feeling sick (nausea), sickness (vomiting), excessive sweating, itching, rash, chest discomfort and pain. Uncommon side effects include abnormal dream, allergic reactions (hypersensitivity), sudden reddening of the face and/or neck, high blood pressure, tiredness (fatigue), general feeling of discomfort or being unwell or out of sorts (malaise).
