Oesclim (Generic name: Estradiol Patch) is a menopause medication used to manage the symptoms such as abnormal uterine bleeding, chills, hot flashes, sweating, vaginal dryness, irritation, and itching. Estradiol is a form of estrogen, a female hormone that is produced by the ovaries. Estradiol patch is known as an estrogen replacement therapy. Oesclim Side Effects:
The most common Oesclim side effects are breast tenderness, constipation, dizziness, fatigue, gas, headache, heartburn, insomnia, nausea, nervousness, vomiting, and etc. If you are experiencing any severe side effects such as breast lumps, chest pain, confusion, depression, jaundice, numbness, vision changes, unusual vaginal bleeding, and serious allergic reaction (e.g., difficult breathing; hives; rash; swelling), please inform your doctor immediately.
Oesclim Precautions:
Do NOT use Oesclim if you are allergic to Estradiol or any of the ingredients of Oesclim medication. Do NOT use Oesclim patch if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Before using Oesclim, tell your doctor if you have had any medical conditions such as asthma, blood clots, bone disease, breast cancer, diabetes, epilepsy or seizures, estrogen-dependent cancer, gallbladder disease, heart disease, high level of cholesterol or triglycerides, kidney or liver disease, migraines, unusual vaginal bleeding, vision problems, and etc. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications you use. They may interact with Oesclim, especially of: anticoagulants, antidiabetes medications, barbiturates, itraconazole, ketoconazole, prednisolone, rifampin, St. John’s wort, thyroid medications, and etc. Avoid damaged or irritated or oily skin when apply Oesclim patch.
