Premarin Vaginal Cream Information:

Premarin Vaginal Cream (Generic name: Conjugated Estrogens Vaginal Cream) is used to restore vaginal tissues to help relieve vaginal dryness and even painful sex due to menopause. Menopause can cause changes in the vaginal tissues, called vaginal atrophy. This can lead to vaginal dryness, itching and burning, and painful sex. Premarin Cream is used to manage vaginal and urinary menopausal symptoms such as burning, dryness, itching, in or around the vagina, difficulty or burning during urination, and painful sexual intercourse. Use Premarin Conjugated Estrogens exactly as it was prescribed for you.

Premarin Vaginal Cream Side Effects:

The most common Premarin Cream side effects are abdominal pain, back pain, breast tenderness, hair loss, headache, infection, nausea, vaginitis, vomiting, and etc. If you are experiencing any severe side effects such as breast pain, chest pain, confusion, first migraine, irregular heartbeat, numbness, unusual vaginal bleeding, vision changes, or symptoms of an allergic reaction (difficult breathing; itching; rash; swelling), please inform your doctor immediately.

Premarin Vaginal Cream Precautions:

Do NOT Use Premarin Vag Cream if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in Premarin medication. Before using Premarin Vaginal, tell your doctor if you have had any medical conditions such as blood clotting, dementia, diabetes, epilepsy or seizure disorder, fibroids, gallbladder, heart problems, high cholesterol, hormone-dependent cancer, liver or kidney disease, vaginal bleeding, water retention, and etc. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications you use. They may interact with Premarin drug, especially of: antidiabetic, barbiturates, blood pressure-lowering, corticosteroids, carbamazepine, meprobamate, phenylbutazone, phenytoin, rifampin, ritonavir, St. John's wort, topiramate, warfarin, and etc. Consult with your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
