Proair HFA Information:

Proair HFA (Generic name: Albuterol Sulfate Inhalation Aerosol) is the #1 Albuterol inhaler used to treat or prevent bronchospasm in people with reversible obstructive airway disease. Proair HFA is also used to prevent exercise-induced bronchospasm. Proair HFA is an Albuterol Sulfate inhaler. Albuterol is a fast-acting bronchodilator helps to quickly open the airways in the lung so that you can breathe more easily. Use the Proair HFA inhalation exactly as it was prescribed for you.

Proair HFA Side Effects:

The most common Proair HFA side effects are cough, diarrhea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, insomnia, muscle pain, nervousness, sore throat, stuffy nose, and etc. If you are experiencing any severe side effects such as chest pain, increased blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, low potassium, nervousness, sudden wheezing, or symptoms of an allergic reaction (e.g., difficult breathing; itching; rash; swelling), please inform your doctor immediately.

Proair HFA Precautions:

Do NOT use Proair inhalers if you are allergic to Albuterol or any of the ingredients in Proair HFA. Before taking Proair HFA inhaler, tell your doctor if you have had any medical conditions, especially of: diabetes, heart problems, high blood pressure, liver or kidney disease, overactive thyroid, seizure disorder, and etc. They may interact with Proair HFA inhalation aerosol, especially of: antidepressants, beta-blockers, bronchodilators, digoxin, diuretic, MAO inhibitors, and other asthma drugs.
