Relafen Information:

Relafen (Generic name: Nabumetone) is a prescription medication used to treat pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis. Nabumetone is known as a non steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAIDs) drug works by reducing the effects of hormones that caused pain, fever and inflammation in the body. Nabumetone is also used to reduce swelling and relieve pain. Take Relafen tablets exactly as it was prescribed for you.

Relafen Side Effects:

The most common Relafen side effects are abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness, gas, headache, insomnia, nausea, vomiting, or weakness. If you are experiencing any severe side effects such as chest pain, fever, jaundice, numbness, urination problems, vision changes, and symptoms of a serious allergic reaction (e.g., difficult breathing, hives, rash, swelling), please inform your doctor immediately.

Relafen Precautions:

Do NOT take Relafen oral if you are allergic to Nabumetone or any of the ingredients in Relafen medication. Do NOT take Relafen pills if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Before taking Relafen, tell your doctor if you have any medical conditions such as asthma, blood clots, depression, epilepsy or seizures, heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney or liver disease, and stomach ulcers. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications you use. They may interact with Relafen drug, especially of: aspirin or other NSAIDs, diuretics, lithium, methotrexate, steroids, and warfarin.
