Retin A Information:

Retin A (Generic name: Tretinoin Cream) is an effective anti-acne medication used to treat certain types of acne. Tretinoin helps acne by exfoliating the skin’s outer layer which helps to reduce the formation of blackheads, whiteheads and other acne lesions. Tretinoin is a derivative of vitamin A. It is also the only topical medication that has been proven to improve wrinkles. Use Retin-A exactly as it was prescribed for you.

Retin A Side Effects:

The most common Retin A side effects may include burning, dryness, irritation, itching, peeling, rash, redness of the skin, or sensitivity to sunlight exposure. If you experience any serious side effects or symptoms of an allergic reaction, please inform your doctor immediately.

Retin A Precautions:

Do NOT use Retin-A if you are allergic to Tretinoin or any of the ingredients in Retin A medication. Do NOT use Retin-A topical if you have eczema or other skin conditions.
