Sialor Information:

Sialor (Generic name: Anetholtrithion, Anethol Trithion) is a drug used to treat dry mouth. Dry mouth syndrome is when there is not enough saliva (spit) in the mouth. A dry mouth is a symptom of an underlying problem, rather than a disease in itself. Causes may include certain diseases (such as AIDS, diabetes, Parkinson’s), dehydration, drugs or medications, infection, nerve problems, salivary duct obstructions, Sjogren's syndrome, some cancer treatment and other causes. Dry mouth syndrome is also called Xerostomia. Anetholtrithion or Anethol Trithion is a sialagogue agent that promotes the flow of saliva. Take Sialor exactly as prescribed.

Sialor Side Effects:

The common side effect of Sialor is not known yet. If you have experienced any severe side effects, or symptoms of an allergic reaction (difficult breathing; hives; itching; rash; swelling), please inform your doctor immediately.

Sialor Precautions:

Do NOT take Sialor drug if you are allergic to Anetholtrithion or any of the ingredients in Sialor mediation. Tell your doctor if stools become soft or diarrhea occurs. They may interact with Sialor drug, Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
