Sular 24 Hour Tablets (Nisoldipine) is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Therefore, avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice while using this medication. Likewise, high-fat meals can increase the peak concentration of nisoldipine, so avoid them while taking this medication. Do not use this medication during pregnancy or while breastfeeding unless recommended by your doctor. This medication is not recommended for use in children.

Like grapefruits, some other medications can slow the liver enzyme that metabolizes nisoldipine, leading to dangerously high levels. Some of these include antifungals such as ketoconazole and antibiotics such as erythromycin.
