Tiazac XC Information

Tiazac XC (Diltiazem Hydrochloride Extended-Release) treats high blood pressure. High blood pressure or hypertension is a condition where the force of blood pushing against the artery walls is consistently too high, potentially damaging blood vessels and leading to serious health issues. Tiazac XC is also used to treat angina, a type of chest pain. Non-dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers like Diltiazem Hydrochloride Extended-Release work by relaxing the smooth muscles in the blood vessel walls, widening the vessels and lowering blood pressure. They also slow down heart rate by affecting the heart’s electrical signals.
