Toloxin Information

Toloxin (Digoxin) is used to treat heart failure. Heart failure is when the heart does not pump blood as well as it should. Coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, and cardiomyopathy increase the risk of heart failure. Toloxin is also used to treat chronic atrial fibrillation. This is a condition where the heart does not beat in rhythm because the atria and ventricles are not working together. The active ingredient in Toloxin is Digoxin. Cardiac glycosides like Digoxin strengthen your heart’s contraction, lower your heart rate, and improve blood flow.
