Viagra Orodispersible Film (Sildenafil Citrate) is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men. Erectile dysfunction is the inability to achieve or maintain a penile erection sufficient for sexual activity. Sexual stimulation is required for Viagra to work. Phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors like Sildenafil Citrate increase blood flow to the penis, helping to maintain an erection during sexual activity.

Viagra Orodispersible Film Precautions
Do not use Viagra Orodispersible Film if you are allergic to Sildenafil Citrate or other ingredients in this medication. Before you start using this medication, tell your doctor about your medical history, including if you have severe heart or liver disease, a recent heart attack, low blood pressure, eye problems, kidney problems, bleeding disorders, or penile deformities. Tell your doctor about all your medications, including prescription, OTC, herbal supplements, and vitamins. There may be a drug interaction between Viagra Orodispersible Film and other medications, such as other ED drugs, ketoconazole, erythromycin, ritonavir, etc. Do not take this medication if you are currently taking any form of nitrate (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, or "poppers" containing amyl nitrite), as this combination can cause a severe, life-threatening drop in blood pressure. Sildenafil Citrate is only for use in men. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use this drug. Sildenafil Citrate is not approved for use in children and adolescents.
Use your medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Viagra Orodispersible Film comes as a thin film that dissolves on the tongue. Dry your hands before handling the film. Remove one film and place it directly on your tongue. Allow it to dissolve completely. Once dissolved, you can swallow normally. Do not take more than one Viagra Orodispersible film per day. Take it about 30 to 60 minutes before sexual activity. You can take Viagra with or without food, but it may work faster on an empty stomach. Also, be aware that a high-fat meal can delay the onset of action. The effect of Sildenafil Citrate lasts up to 4 hours. Viagra won't cause an erection on its own. You must be sexually stimulated. Viagra may cause a sudden drop in blood pressure. To stay safe, sit or lie down if you feel dizzy and stand up slowly. Avoid driving until you know how the medicine affects you. Do not take alcohol with Viagra. Alcohol can increase your risk of dizziness or fainting. Store Viagra Orodispersible Film at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
