Viviant Information:

Viviant (Generic name: Bazedoxifene) is a prescription medication used for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women at increased risk of fractures, and for the treatment of bone loss associated with hormone ablation in men with prostate cancer at increased risk of fractures. Along with proper diet and exercise, Viviant can help slow bone loss and reduce the risk of fracture. Use Viviant subcutaneous injection exactly as it was prescribed for you.

Viviant Side Effects:

The most common Viviant side effects are constipation, back pain, dizziness, nausea, tiredness, and vomiting. If you are experiencing any severe side effects such as chest pain, confusion, difficult urination, fever, infection, numbness, vision changes, or symptoms of an allergic reaction (e.g., difficult breathing; hives; rash; swelling), please inform your doctor immediately.

Viviant Precautions:

Do NOT use Viviant if you are allergic to Bazedoxifene or any of the ingredients in Viviant medication. Viviant is NOT recommended for use in women before menopause. Before using Viviant, tell your doctor if you have had any medical conditions such as blood clots, heart disease, high blood cholesterol levels, high triglycerides, stroke, and etc. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications you use. They may interact with Viviant drug. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
