Xyloproct Information

Xyloproct (Lidocaine/Hydrocortisone Acetate) is used to relieve itching around the anus or female genitals. Skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis, infections like yeast infections or bacterial vaginosis, hormonal changes like menopause, poor hygiene, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and irritation from soaps or detergents can cause itching around the anus or female genitals. Xyloproct may also be used to reduce symptoms of piles (hemorrhoids) and other problems affecting the anus. Xyloproct is a combination medicine of Lidocaine and Hydrocortisone Acetate. Anesthetics like Lidocaine block pain signals to the brain, resulting in a total stop of pain or a partial loss of feeling. Corticosteroids like Hydrocortisone Acetate activate the natural substances in the skin to reduce swelling, redness, and itching.
