Zyrtec Information

Zyrtec (Cetirizine) is used to relieve allergic symptoms, such as hives, sneezing, a runny nose, and body itching, and eye redness, associated with various allergic conditions, including perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis, anaphylactic reactions, allergic conjunctivitis (red and itchy eyes) and chronic urticaria. Its active ingredient, cetirizine, belongs to the second-generation antihistamine class. Cetirizine works by selectively blocking the action of histamine on its receptors in the body.
