Reclast (Generic name: Zoledronic Acid Injection) is a FDA-approved injectable prescription medication used to treat or prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. Reclast is also used to treat Paget’s disease of bone in men and women, and increase bone mass in men with osteoporosis. Reclast (Zoledronic Acid) is a bisphosphonate that works by inhibiting the release of calcium from bones and increasing the bone density.
