Bravecto Information

Bravecto (Fluralaner) is an oral medication used to treat fleas and ticks in dogs. Bravecto is not for use in dogs under six months of age, or under four pounds. Bravecto works by absorbing into the bloodstream, then into the skin, and acting as a paralytic for any parasites found on the skin. This medication starts to kill fleas after two hours and provides effective control within 8 hours for fleas and within 24 hours of attachment for ticks. Administer this medication as directed. Do not use Bravecto in larger or smaller doses, or for longer than prescribed. Bravecto is not for human use. Dogs may vomit after using Bravecto. If this persists or worsens, contact your veterinarian. If your dog experiences any serious side effects or signs of an allergic reaction, contact your veterinarian immediately.
