Holkira Pak (Dasabuvir Sodium/Omitasvir/Paritaprevir/Ritonavir) is used to treat hepatitis C in adults with damaged liver that is still functioning properly (compensated liver disease). It is used alone or with another antiviral medication called ribavirin. It is not used for all genotypes of hepatitis C virus as it was developed to target genotype 1 specifically, which is the most common type of hepatitis C virus. Hepatitis C is a potentially serious viral infection that damages the liver over time, leading to scarring (fibrosis), cirrhosis, liver failure, or even hepatocellular carcinoma if not treated.
