Kisqali Information
Kisqali (Ribociclib) is used to treat hormone-related breast cancer in women. This medication is only used if your cancer tests negative for a protein called human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) and if it hasn’t been treated yet by hormone therapy in premenopausal, perimenopausal, and postmenopausal women. Kisqali is taken in repeating cycles of 28 days. It is taken each day for 21 days, followed by a treatment break of 7 days when this medication is not taken. This medication works by slowing and stopping the growth of cancer cells. Do not take this medication if you are allergic. Talk to your doctor if you have a medical history of liver and kidney disease. Take this medication as directed by your medical professional.
