Vectical (Generic name: Calcitriol, also known as Silkis Ointment) is a topical medication used to treat mild to moderate plaque psoriasis in adults who are 18 years and older. Psoriasis is a chronic skin condition that produces red, dry plagues of chickened skin. About 3 percent of the US population has psoriasis. Vectical (Calcitriol) is a form of vitamin D. It works by controlling the excessive skin cell production. It is the only Vitamin D3 ointment if you suffer from mild to moderate plaque psoriasis.
