Aspirin Information:

Aspirin (Generic name: Acetylsalicylic acid/ ASA) is a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat fever, pain, and inflammation in various conditions. Aspirin is a non-narcotic reliever of mild to moderate pain, including arthritics, back and neck pain, common cold and flu, headaches, injury, menstrual cramps, migraines, muscle pain, nerve pain, osteoarthritis, and following surgical and dental procedures. Aspirin is also used to prevent or treat angina (chest pain), blood clots, heart attacks, and strokes. Aspirin should be used for cardiovascular conditions only under the supervision of a doctor. Take Aspirin exactly as it was prescribed for you.

Aspirin is the most commonly pain reliever medicine available to your pet in pain including arthritis, chronic pain, fever, inflammation, injuries, osteoarthritis, and swelling associated with joint issues. Check with a veterinarian before giving Aspirin to your dogs or cats.

Aspirin Side Effects:

The most common Aspirin side effects are abdominal pain, dizziness, gas, headache, nausea, and vomiting.
