Zelboraf Information:

Zelboraf (generic name: Vemurafenib) is a medication for metastatic melanoma that has a certain type of the abnormal BRAF gene. Metastatic melanoma is a type of skin cancer than has spread from the original tumor site. Zelboraf is also used for melanoma that can not be surgically removed.

Talk to your doctor about taking Zelboraf if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. Zelborafmay harm your unborn baby. Men and women who take Zelboraf should use birth control during treatment and for 2 months after stopping Zelboraf. Tell your doctor right away if you become pregnant while taking Zelboraf. Do not breastfeed while taking Zelboraf.
